How Much Has Technology Progressed Since R4 Cards?
The R4 card was one of the first adapter cards to ever hit the market once the Nintendo DS game system was first released. The great thing about a Nintendo DS is the fact that that it is so portable, giving you the ability to easily carry a number of games anywhere you go. Those games come in small, lightweight packages. Since that original conception, however, the technology in Nintendo DS models has expanded. They are able to function at a faster rate, showing better graphics and using better controls. The original technology used that the regular R4 cards fed off of was no longer present.
